If you went on social media and posted the question “Who do you think Jesus was?” you would get just about as many opinions as you get responses. Jesus proved this when He asked His own disciples what people were saying about His identity. They told Him, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets” (Matt.16:14). But we don’t have to make assumptions about Jesus because He made seven radical statements that leave no doubt about who He is and why He came. They’ve become known as the “The Seven I AM’s of Christ” and they set Jesus apart from all others!
